De l’utilité sémantique des déterminants : appoints caractérisant et enjeux

Résumé
La question du déterminant en tant que modificateur du nom est une hypothèse qui mérite d’être prouvée. En fait, des spécificités dans l’actualisation du nom permettent de qualifier le nom comme le ferait un adjectif. Cela concerne aussi bien les déterminants définis que les déterminants indéfinis. Le conditionnement énonciatif des déterminants permet aussi de préciser le substantif et de concevoir un univers lexical plus complet. Il faut apprécier la diversité du rôle joué par le déterminant dans la qualification ou la caractérisation nominale afin de comprendre leur importance grammaticale et linguistique. À la vérité, le rôle du déterminant dans le discours est plus étendu qu’on le pense.

The semantic utility of determinants: characterizing appoints and issues
Abstract
The question of the determiner as a modifier of the noun is a hypothesis that deserves to be proven. In fact, specificities in the updating of the noun make it possible to qualify the noun as an adjective would. This concerns both defined determiners and indefinite determiners. The enunciative conditioning of determiners also makes it possible to specify the noun and to design a more complete lexical universe. We must appreciate the diversity of the role played by the determiner in the nominal qualification or characterization in order to understand their grammatical and linguistic importance. In truth, the role of the determinant in discourse is more extensive than we think.
